THE PREMIER League has confirmed Cherries’ 25-man squad for the rest of the league season.
Latest arrivals Darren Randolph, Antoine Semenyo, Matias Vina and Hamed Traore have all been included, with Cherries using up all 25 available spots.
Fellow new signings Dango Ouattara and Illia Zabarnyi do not need to be registered in the 25-man selection, thanks to the fact they are both under the age of 21.
Cherries remain the Premier League side with the most homegrown players registered in their squad, with 19 members of the 25 qualifying.
Premier League clubs are required to have at most 17 non-homegrown players, with sides unable to fill the remaining eight spots with homegrown players having to register fewer players.
For example, league leaders Arsenal only have seven registered homegrown players, but they have three free spots left in their 25-man quota.
A player qualifies as homegrown if they spent three years at a FA-affiliated club before the age of 21, explaining why Philip Billing, born in Denmark but having joined Huddersfield Town at 18, qualifies.
Out of the four players that departed Cherries on loan this window, only Pearson and Lowe counted as homegrown.
New registrations Randolph and Semenyo are classified as homegrown, whilst Vina and Traore take up two of the 17 permitted non-homegrown spots.
Nottingham Forest, who have made 32 signings this season, have omitted Cherries legend Steve Cook from their squad.
Defender Cook, who joined Forest from Cherries last January, had made 12 Premier League appearances this term, before being deemed surplus to requirements at the City Ground.
