FORMER Cherries defender Mathieu Baudry has returned to the club to help some of the new signings settle in England.
Frenchman Baudry was spotted, on crutches, at Amex Stadium this afternoon, speaking with January recruits and fellow French speakers Hamed Traore and Dango Ouattara.
The 34-year-old is currently contracted to Swindon Town, but suffered a serious knee injury in December.
Town have allowed Baudry to spend some time at Cherries during his recovery, to act as a translator and help Ouattara and Traore settle in England.
Having spent the early part of his career in France, Baudry moved to England in 2011, to join Cherries.
He made 14 appearances for Cherries, his only goal coming late on in a dramatic 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers in League One.
Baudry went on to play for Dagenham & Redbridge, Leyton Orient, Doncaster Rovers and Milton Keynes Dons, before joining Swindon in 2019.
