CHERRIES have confirmed that youngster Dominic Sadi will remain a Cherry until at least the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Attacking midfielder Sadi arrived at the Vitality Stadium over the summer after impressing on trial with the under-18s.

Formerly with West Ham, Sadi dropped into non-league with seventh tier Wingate & Finchley before returning to the pro ranks, signing a one-year deal.

The midfielder has impressed incumbent head coach Gary O'Neil and previous boss Scott Parker, the latter handing him his senior debut off the bench at Norwich in the League Cup back in August.

Sadi set up fellow debutant Brooklyn Genesini in the dying stages of the Norwich game, ensuring the tie went to penalties, allowing Cherries to go on and advance to the next round.

Speaking to afcb.co.uk after confirming the new deal, Sadi shared: "I’m over the moon. It’s indescribable, honestly.

“To get another two years at this amazing club is a dream of mine, and to continue playing at the highest level.

“I’m just happy that I’ve been able to prove myself in the year I’ve had and to get myself another two years.”

The Daily Echo understands that a loan move has been mooted as the next step in Sadi's development, with National League and Scottish sides interested.
