THE MAIN stand at Hamworthy United’s Sunseeker International County Ground home has been closed in the “interest of costumer safety”, according to the Dorset County FA.
Southern League Division One South outfit Hamworthy will be unable to offer seating at any home match for the foreseeable future.
In a statement on their club social media, Hamworthy United shared: “Following a safety inspection carried out on behalf of the DCFA, the seated stand at Hamworthy United Football Club, which has been on site since the 1960’s, has been deemed unsafe and is closed.
“Sadly, for the present time, there will be no seating available at any match held at the Sunseeker International County Ground. The club are working with the Southern League and The FA in an attempt to resolve this.”
