TOTTENHAM Hotspur acting head coach Cristian Stellini “disappointed” his opposite number in the Cherries’ dugout after a lack of a handshake following full time.
Cherries came out on top 3-2 winners at Tottenham Hotspur stadium, Matias Vina, Dominic Solanke, and Dango Ouattara’s strikes overcoming efforts from Heung-min Son and former Cherry Arnaut Danjuma.
It was the second time this season the two teams have shared a five-goal thriller decided at the death, with Spurs victorious by the same scoreline on the south coast back in October.
Stellini, who was part of previous Spurs boss Antonio Conte’s staff, headed straight down the tunnel following the final whistle.
Head coach Gary O'Neil told BBC Sport: “When we were on the wrong end at our place, I shook the opposition manager’s hand.
“I was disappointed with them today.
“I thought to go straight down the tunnel and not shake hands was poor on their part.
“But it is what it is.”
