CHERRIES’ fixtures for the 2023-24 Premier League season have been announced.

After finishing 15th in their first season back in the top-flight, Gary O’Neil’s charges will face a second campaign of Premier League football.

A 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at the Vitality kick-started Cherries' return to the elite of English football last year, and they again begin their campaign at home,  against West Ham United on Saturday, August 12.

They are also at home on Boxing Day, when they welcome Fulham to Dean Court on Tuesday, December 26.

The Premier League has pledged that no two rounds of fixtures over the Christmas and New Year period can take place within 48 hours of each other, with Cherries currently set to visit Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, December 30.

Following Luton’s promotion via the play-offs there is now a smaller ground than the Vitality Stadium in the first tier, with Cherries set to visit Kenilworth Road on Saturday, April 4 2024.

The season ends with another away trip, with Cherries travelling to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Sunday, May 19.

There will be four in-season international breaks next season. Shortly after the closure of the transfer window will come the first, with players called up by their countries away between Monday, September 4 and Tuesday, September 12.

A further break follows between Monday, October 9 and Tuesday 17, with the final international break of 2023 coming in November, international fixtures set to be staged between Monday, November 13 and Tuesday 21.

Lastly, there will be an international break in March, between Monday 18 and Tuesday 26.

After multiple seasons interrupted by COVID and last year’s campaign briefly paused for the World Cup, the mid-season break will again return, taking place between Saturday, January 13, and Saturday, January 20.

Cherries face Liverpool at home on January 13, although the Premier League have added the caveat it may be staged the following week, on Saturday, January 20.
