WESSEX League teams now know their opponents for the qualifying rounds of the FA Vase, it has been announced.
Depending on which division teams occupy in the Wessex League’s two tiers and previous exploits in the Vase, sides enter at different stages.
Lymington Town, who recently dropped down from the Southern League, have been given a bye to the second qualifying round, where they will either face Gillingham Town or Fareham Town.
Blackfield & Langley will host the winners of the tie between East Cowes Vic and Brockenhurst in the first qualifying round, whilst Verwood Town will have to overcome an away trip to Whitchurch United to then travel to Totton & Eling.
Hamworthy Recreation entertain Fawley, the victors of that meeting getting home advantage against either Folland Sports or Bournemouth Poppies.
Ringwood Town travel to Downton in hopes of earning a spot in the next round, where they would visit Alresford Town.
Christchurch will welcome divisional rivals Moneyfields to Priory Lane, the winners moving on to host either Petersfield Town or Fleetlands.
First round qualifying will be staged on Saturday, August 26, with the second round taking place on Saturday, September 23.
Sides victorious in the first round of qualifying will earn £550, whilst losing teams will be compensated with £160.
The prize money increases for the second round, where teams will be rewarded with £725. Knocked out teams at that stage will earn £225.
