CHERRIES’ head coach Andoni Iraola says Bill Foley is “an owner that is willing to improve everything in the club”.

Foley completed his purchase of Cherries from Maxim Demin in December of last year for an eventual figure understood to be £140million and quickly set to work, to try and spark an upturn both on and off the pitch.

The American businessman provided the funds in the January transfer window to help keep the club in the Premier League, whilst also pushing ahead plans for work on the new training ground and making quick aesthetic improvements to Vitality Stadium.

His biggest decision so far saw him ratify the decision to sack Gary O’Neil last month and replace him with Iraola.

Discussing Foley, Iraola said: “Bill is an owner that is willing to improve everything in the club.

“You can see it from the first day, new facilities, he’s thinking about a new stadium and he helps everyone involved with the club.

“The players, the staff and I think it’s very good.

“He also has the sporting culture. He has been also successful this season with the Las Vegas Knights and I think he wants the best for AFC Bournemouth.

“We will try to help him.”
