CHERRIES have reportedly had an opening bid rejected for Bristol City starlet Alex Scott.
According to Sky Sports and TALKsport, a first offer worth an initial £15million has been rejected by the Championship outfit, who believe their midfield talent to be worth closer to £25million.
The deal also reportedly contains further add-on dependent on conditions being met in future.
The teenager made 42 appearances last term, scoring once and laying on five goals as Bristol City finished 14th in the second tier.
An England under-20 international, Scott is just shy of a century of professional games despite his tender years, having made 94 appearances in all competitions for the Robins since his debut in the 2020-21 season.
Hailing from Guernsey, Scott spent a year training with Cherries' youth team around the age of 13 after his release from Southampton.
Scott was spotted playing for the island's eponymous non-league side at 16, paving the way for his return back to England with Bristol City.
