ANDONI Iraola is not currently planning on overhauling his striking options, believing that other positions need sorting first.
In terms of senior strikers, Cherries currently have Dominic Solanke and Kieffer Moore on the books, with Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert also capable of playing up top. Jamal Lowe has been deemed surplus to requirements by the club.
Despite the low number of forwards, there remains speculation that Moore will depart the Vitality Stadium this summer.
The Welsh international has strongly been linked with a return back to Cardiff, the club Cherries paid a reported £3.5million in order to sign Moore in January 2022.
Moore made 12 starts in his debut Premier League season, scoring four goals in a total of 27 top-flight appearances.
However, rather than revamp Cherries’ striking options, Iraola believes other areas of the pitch need addressing first.
The Basque boss has previously commented how Cherries require reinforcements for the central-midfield and right-back positions.
Despite transfer speculation, Iraola stated he was happy with Moore’s performances in training and in pre-season fixtures so far.
Asked about Moore’s future, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think probably it's not the area where we prioritise right now.
“We have other needs before the number nine area, let's say.
“But we cannot guarantee anything because there is a lot of time, there is a lot of days remaining in the market.
“But I'm happy with his performance, how he's training.”
