CHERRIES have announced their squad numbers for the new campaign, with a new number one announced.
Mark Travers had taken the coveted number one shirt at the start of last season, but with the Irish goalie now on loan at Stoke City for the season, club captain Neto has inherited it.
Joe Rothwell has swapped 14 for eight, whilst Philip Billing will have his first name on the back of shirt, rather than his surname, reflecting his personal decision to go by Philip moving forward.
Fittingly for a left-back, Milos Kerkez takes number three, last worn by loanee Jack Stephens,
Justin Kluivert takes the number 19 shirt vacated by Junior Stanislas, whilst Andrei Radui will don the number 20 on his back.
Notably, neither Emi Marcondes and Jamal Lowe have been given shirt numbers ahead of the new campaign.
Marcondes last wore the number 11, whilst Lowe’s number was 18.
