GARY O’Neil has officially reunited with Tim Jenkins at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves confirmed earlier today that Jenkins has been appointed as assistant head coach at Molineaux.

The pair first worked closely together in Liverpool’s academy, before O’Neil opted to bring in Jenkins to Cherries following his permanent appointment as head coach in November 2022.

O’Neil’s former teammate Shaun Derry has also joined his backroom staff in his first job since leaving Cherries.

He leaves Crystal Palace to become first team coach under O’Neil.

Jenkins had not officially been confirmed as having departed Cherries following O’Neil’s sacking in June.

In line with his analytical background, Jenkins was often spotted watching on from the stands alongside Cherries’ analysts last term.

Both Derry and Jenkins were spotted on the touchline alongside O’Neil during Wolves’ controversial 1-0 defeat against Manchester United on Monday night.
