YOU CAN now vote for your Cherries player of the match against Liverpool.
Cherries gallantly fell to a 3-1 defeat at Anfield after leading on three minutes.
This season we will be asking readers to select their man of the match from every Cherries game.
Last week Joe Rothwell won with over 60 per cent of the vote.
Fans will have until 9am on Sunday, August 20 to vote.
Antoine Semenyo
The inclusion of Antoine Semenyo in the starting XI raised a few eyebrows but the Ghanaian international instantly justified Iraola’s faith with a third-minute opener.
He looked dangerous throughout before he was subbed after 76 minutes.
Dominic Solanke
Last weekend Semenyo provided Dominic Solanke for an assist, at Anfield it was the other way round.
Up against former teammate Virgil van Dijk it was always going to be tough for Solanke, but the one-time England international cause a few issues and had some good moments in a long afternoon for Cherries’ attackers.
Marcos Senesi
Marcos Senesi was fearless throughout the contest, striding forward with and without the ball in order to help Cherries.
Defensively he was frequently the first to get stuck in, and he was unfortunate that his attempt to cut out a pass actually led to Liverpool’s equaliser.
Neto
Neto was another to suffer misfortune. The Brazilian made some big stops, including a save to deny Mo Salah from the spot, only for the rebound to fall kindly for the Egyptian to convert.
Arguably could have done better for the third, a cruel deflection making it difficult, but judging by Neto’s reaction to the goal he felt he could have done better.
