CHERRIES boss Andoni Iraola admitted his side made it “too easy” for Tottenham Hotspur to score.

James Maddison was allowed free run of the box to grab Spurs’ first, before Cherries seemed to switch off again as winger Dejan Kulusevksi ghosted into the back post to seal a 2-0 win for the away side.

Cherries have now conceded six goals in their opening three goals this term, whilst they also drew a blank in front of goal for the first time under Iraola.

Asked if he was disappointed by the goals conceded, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think both goals we were quite set defensively.

“It is not like they took our spaces in our high line.

“We were set defensively, but especially the second goal, it is too easy.

“The one-two, also the pass back where we don’t mark Kulusevski properly.

“Also in the first goal, there is a situation where we could have given (Sarr) more difficulties.

“There are things to correct, obviously.”

Cherries are next in action in midweek, when they travel to Swansea City in the EFL Cup.

They return to Premier League duties at the weekend, when they visit Brentford on Saturday, September 2.
