CHERRIES have been drawn against Stoke City in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The tie will take place at Vitality Stadium.
Andoni Iraola’s men booked their place in the draw after a 3-2 win over Swansea City on Tuesday night, with goals from David Brooks, Hamed Traore and Ryan Christie.
Championship Stoke, managed by Alex Neil, currently sit 10th in the second tier.
They booked their spot in round three with a 6-1 thumping of Rotherham United on Tuesday.
The Potters have also already beaten West Bromwich Albion earlier in the competition.
Stoke signed Ben Pearson from Cherries in the summer, while goalkeeper Mark Travers is currently on loan with the Staffordshire club.
The draw was conducted live on Sky Sports by Darren Moore and Izzy Christiansen.
Ties are due to take place in the week commencing September 25.
Cherries go to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on September 24, before hosting Arsenal on September 30.
