WHILE Cherries have a break in fixtures, a number of their players are heading away this week on international duty.

Among the schedule are a host a key Euro 2024 and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, while in South America the World Cup campaign gets underway.

Here is a full rundown of all of Cherries’ international call-ups in this window.

Starting in Europe, Ryan Christie will be looking to help move Scotland to the brink of qualification for the Euros.

Already eight points clear at the top of their group, Steve Clarke’s side head to Cyprus on Friday.

Scotland then host England in a friendly on September 12.

There is also a big Euro 2024 qualifier on the horizon for Wales.

Chris Mepham and David Brooks are part of Rob Page’s squad who go to Latvia on September 11.

Prior to that, Wales host South Korea in a friendly this Thursday in Cardiff. Kieffer Moore could feature in that contest, but is suspended for the Latvia clash having been sent off in the loss to Armenia in June.

Illia Zabarnyi faces a massive international camp with Ukraine.

They currently sit second in their group and face two difficult qualifiers.

Ukraine face England in Wroclaw on Saturday, before a trip to Milan to face Italy at the San Siro on September 12.

Milos Kerkez faces an interesting qualifier with Hungary on Thursday. He takes on the country of his birth, Serbia, with both clubs locked on seven points atop Group G.

Hungary then host Czechia in a friendly on Sunday.

Mark Travers, currently out on loan at Stoke City, will hope to add to his three Republic of Ireland caps in tricky Euro 2024 qualifiers against France (Thursday) and Netherlands (Sunday).

The 2026 World Cup qualifiers get underway in South America, with two Cherries players in action in the 10-team group.

Marcos Senesi has been called-up by world champions Argentina. They host Ecuador in the early hours of Friday morning UK time, before a trip to Bolivia on September 12.

Cherries’ latest signing Luis Sinisterra will not arrive at his new club until late next week, after two fixtures with Colombia.

They host Venezuela later this week, before kicking-off at 1.30am UK time in Chile on September 13.

This international window also sees the final round of qualification for next year’s AFCON.

Hamed Traore will be with Ivory Coast, who have already qualified, for their home game against Lesotho on Saturday.

They then host Mali in a friendly on September 12.

Ghana also have two home games coming up, but are not yet sure of their place at AFCON.

Antoine Semenyo is part of the squad who currently top Group E, but must avoid defeat to Central African Republic on Thursday to ensure their passage through.

Ghana then welcome Liberia to Accra in a friendly on September 12.

Two of Cherries’ talented youngsters have also received call-ups.

Owen Bevan, currently out on loan at Cheltenham Town, will be with Wales under-21s for games against Liechtenstein (Friday) and Lithuania (September 12).

Michael Dacosta Gonzalez has been called-up by Spain under-19s for a training camp.

Philip Billing (Denmark) and Andrei Radu (Romania) did not receive call-ups, despite recently being part of their international set-ups. Dango Ouattara (Burkina Faso) and Tyler Adams (USA) were unavailable due to injury.
