BOSS Andoni Iraola says Cherries fans were “amazing from the first minute” when asked about their new chant for him at Brentford.
Heard loudly for the first time at the Gtech Community Stadium, the away end, which held more than 1,500 Cherries fans, created an adaption on the classic 1950s song La Bamba, centred around Iraola and his Spanish roots.

Asked for his take on the tune after the 2-2 draw, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “We have to thank them, because playing away here in Brentford, they were amazing from the first minute.
“Even when we started losing, they pushed even more. They helped the team a lot.
“Probably the worst part for me is not to give them back the three points.
“We were really close, but we have to go back with one.”
