CHELSEA boss Mauricio Pochettino believes his side “deserved more” from their trip to Cherries.

The two sides played out an entertaining 0-0 draw at Vitality Stadium, Dango Ouattara going close for Cherries while the visitors struck the woodwork twice.

Chelsea boasted 64 per cent of possession in the contest, with six of their 14 shots hitting the target, compared to four of Cherries’ 13.

Reflecting on the goalless draw, Pochettino said: “I think we didn’t concrete the chances that we created. In the first 20-25 minutes, I think we deserved to score, but we didn’t score.

“Then the game was open. In the last 15-20 minutes, we wanted to win.

“Sometimes we started to disorganise our defensive line and tell the full-backs to go high, to give Bournemouth the possibility to make some counter-attacks, some transitions.

“But I am disappointed with the result, because we want to win.

“But of course with all the circumstances, I think we deserved more, but we didn’t get what we deserved.”
