ANDONI Iraola is hopeful the issue which saw Lloyd Kelly forced off against Brighton & Hove Albion was nothing serious.
The centre-back received treatment before being replaced by Marcos Senesi on 83 minutes of the 3-1 defeat at the Amex.
Kelly is only recently back from a calf injury which ruled him out of the early weeks of the season.
Asked about the 24-year-old’s withdrawal on Sunday, head coach Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think he felt tight in the calf.
“Probably it was a matter of he was tired. Because Zaba (Illia Zabarnyi) and him had to cover far for the press.
“They probably ran more than other games for a centre-back.
“I hope it’s not an injury and he just felt some tightness and he decided to remove himself.”
