CHERRIES took no risks with Dominic Solanke after his injury scare, according to boss Andoni Iraola.
The talismanic striker was taken off during Cherries’ EFL Cup win over Stoke City in midweek with an ankle complaint, but any doubts over his fitness was quashed as he played the full 90 minutes of this afternoon’s 4-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Asked for an update on Solanke, Iraola shared: “Dom was good. I think he felt good.
"And it wasn't that we took a risk.
“He was good. I hope he doesn't again complain about his ankle.”
Goalkeeper Neto went down requiring treatment on a few occasions, but his head coach does not believe there is any serious concern.
“He finished the game, he told us he would finish,” continued Iraola.
“I don't think he had anything big. But we have to wait until tomorrow to check everyone.”
