CHERRIES head coach Andoni Iraola could have three players back from injury for the visit of Wolves to Vitality Stadium this weekend.

Gary O’Neil’s Wanderers are in town this Saturday (3pm) as Cherries look for a first league win under Iraola.

The Basque boss could have the services of defenders Lloyd Kelly and Chris Mepham available to him for tomorrow’s game.

Mepham played the full 90 minutes of Wales’ crucial 2-1 qualifying win over Croatia last week, his first appearance since the start of September.

Kelly has missed Cherries’ last three fixtures due to a calf complaint.

There was further good news, with summer signing Alex Scott back in training and seemingly in contention moving forward.

Scott joined Cherries for a reported £25million from Bristol City in August, the 19-year-old arriving with a knee issue sustained in training with the Robins.

Whilst Iraola did not outright state whether the England under-20 international was in line for a debut against Wolves, he shared that Scott had been training with the group.

Discussing returnees from injury, Iraola shared: “I think from the previous game against Everton, we recover Chris Mepham, he played with the national team.

“I think Lloyd Kelly has been training also with the group.

“So he's doing well, and we also have the last one to train with the group that is Alex Scott.

“That is a good sign. He's doing well, he's feeling well.”

Midfielder Philip Billing pulled out of Denmark’s squad for qualifiers against Kazakhstan and San Marino during the international break after picking up a knock last time out.

However, the Dane is expected to be available with no issues this weekend.

Iraola explained: “Philip’s ready to play.

“I think it was nothing, it was a knock. Not so important.

“He has been training with us these last sessions here."
