CHERRIES boss Andoni Iraola says his charges must keep their focus for “100 minutes” in the Premier League after another defeat, this time at the hands of Wolves.

Despite leading at the break thanks to Dom Solanke’s opener, Cherries lost 2-1 to Gary O’Neil’s Wolves, Matheus Cunha restoring parity shortly after the restart before substitute Sasa Kalajdzic snatched all three points late on.

After conceding a sloppy equaliser, Cherries were reduced to 10 men when Lewis Cook saw red for what was seen as a headbutt on Wolves’ Hwang Hee-Chan.

The winner came after another costly mistake, captain Neto rushing a goal kick that saw Philip Billing pickpocketed and allowing Kalajdzic to grab Wolves’ second.

Discussing the game, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think (it’s disappointing) especially for the players after what they put in today.

“They were doing first half, very good.

“Even after the red card, I think they were defending really well. They were covering a lot of space.

“I think just we conceded one shot from Pedro Neto that went outside.

“But at the end, we have to keep the focus 100 minutes in the Premier League and we made the two big mistakes that take us from the points in the game, that probably when we review tomorrow, there are not so many things that we have to correct.

“But the big ones that give us zero points.”
