HAMWORTHY Recreation have been rewarded with a trip to Gloucestershire to face Fairford Town in the FA Vase second round after cruising past Bovey Tracey 4-0.
82 supporters watched on as Chris Long led the way with a hat-trick, George Deem also chipping in with a goal as Rec continued their maiden FA Vase campaign.
As well as securing their spot in the second round proper of the competition, Kirk Grice and Wayne Smith’s side received £825.
Fairford Town currently ply their trade in the Hellenic Premier League, the tier above Hamworthy Rec.
The Gloucestershire outfit defeated Roman Glass St George 2-1 at home to advance.
Ties will be staged on the weekend of Saturday, November 11, with £900 on offer for the victors.
Teams knocked out at the second round stage will earn £275.
