THE much-delayed Jubilee League final has been pushed back again, due to heavy rain throughout Tuesday night in Poole.
Pirates were set to host Leicester Lions at Wimborne Road this evening, to finally bring to an end the competition which was carried over from the 2022 season.
However, the club say “heavy overnight rain” has “forced” them to postpone the meeting.
It has instead been rescheduled for this Friday (7.30pm).
This is the final meeting in the calendar for the year for Poole, who have seen the SGB Championship and Knockout Cup trophies slip through their grasp in recent weeks.
Pirates qualified for the Jubilee League final way back on August 3, 2022, topping a group which included Oxford Cheetahs, Plymouth Gladiators and Birmingham Brummies.
