BOSS Andoni Iraola did not shy away from the importance of tomorrow’s clash against Burnley, admitting: “There is pressure.”

Cherries remain winless in the Premier League after nine games, picking up just three points so far.

They sit in the relegation, a point and a place below Burnley.

Vincent Kompany’s Clarets, promoted last season, head to Vitality Stadium (3pm) on the back of a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Brentford last time out.

Asked if he sees this fixture as ‘must-win’ for Cherries, Iraola said: “I think so.

“I think there is pressure.

“We are facing a team that is in a similar situation as ours. Also some similarities, because they are also a young team.

“They are conceding goals in moments where they deserve more or they are playing well. They are struggling a little bit there.

“We want to beat them and we want to pass them in the standings and it’s a very, very important game for us, yes.”

Quizzed on how the players are handling the situation of being near the foot of the table, Iraola added: “They have the experience from the past season.

“They were able to turn the situation, get the points and get the wins.

“Now is not the moment to talk too much. The only thing that will solve this is to go and win games.

“I will try to answer everything you want to tell me, but I know that the only answer especially Bournemouth supporters want is to win the game tomorrow.”
