BOSS Andoni Iraola believed all of his players deserved credit for Cherries’ two goals in 2-1 victory over Burnley, saying they worked “very, very hard” to win the ball back.

After Charlie Taylor lashed home from range to open scores for the away side, Cherries responded via Antoine Semenyo and Philip Billing to claim a first Premier League win of the season.

Semenyo pickpocketed Taylor before dribbling and finishing off the move himself, whilst Billing capitalised upon Marcus Tavernier’s tackle on Vitinho to lob James Trafford from 42 yards out.

Discussing the goals with the Daily Echo, Iraola began: “I'm very happy for Ant (Antoine Semenyo), for Philip (Billing).

“They scored the goals, but I think both goals were after spells of very high press, very, very hard work from all the players. I think first goal, I think even (Marcus) Tavernier tries to recover.

“We are not successful in the first one, second one we are successful with.

“Also, the second goal was like this.

“We knew that we had to be very, very aggressive in the press because otherwise Burnley dictates, dominates you because they are very good on the ball.

“And I think the players did that (be aggressive).”
