ANDREI Radu insists there were no nerves ahead of his Premier League debut, the charismatic Romanian instead keen to “live for the moment”.
After playing second fiddle to Neto all campaign, aside from two appearances in the Carabao Cup, goalkeeper Radu was suddenly thrust centre stage on Saturday.
Seeking a first league win of the season, Cherries were without captain Neto due to an ankle injury.
Radu, a summer loan arrival from Inter Milan, started between the sticks for the crunch clash with Burnley.

The 26-year-old had a relatively quiet afternoon, as Cherries came from behind to win 2-1 and move out of the relegation zone.
“It was the perfect debut,” Radu told the Daily Echo.
“I was hoping for this debut and first of all I was waiting for a win, because we needed that to get out of the not really happy moment that we lived.
“We lived a very tense moment. We were waiting for this win from the beginning of the season and it finally came, so we are very, very happy.”
Towards the end of the contest, Radu had one big save to make to seal the win, tipping away after Sander Berge and Chris Mepham contested for the ball at the back post.
“It was a nice save,” he said.
“I am happy that I helped the team, because it was a very important moment.
“It was the end of the game where everything can happen, so I am happy I kept that ball out.
“We took the three points and everybody is happy.”
Asked how he felt in the build-up to the game, knowing he would play, Radu said: “I wasn’t nervous at all, because I always work hard.
“We are really good goalkeepers in training, we always motivate each other.
“I am really sorry for Neto and I wish him a very speedy recovery, because he is a really great guy. He really helped me coming into the group.
“It wasn’t tension, I just lived the moment.”
He added: “I always stay focused. I do the same things.
“I don’t change anything, because what I do is good, in my opinion, so I keep going like this.”
One downside to Radu’s late call-up was his friends and family back home in Romania were unable to travel over and watch his Premier League debut in person.
“They didn’t come because we didn’t expect it at all,” said the shot-stopper.
“But they are happy for me. They watched me from a distance and it doesn’t matter, I feel their support.”
Cherries now face a tough run of fixtures, with games against Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle United to come before the international break.
Radu is set to keep his place for tomorrow’s Carabao Cup contest against the Reds at Vitality Stadium (7.45pm), with youngster Cameron Plain on the bench.
Discussing the upcoming fixtures, the Romania international said: “I live for the moment and we should live for the moment.
“We should now work harder than we did before.
“We have these three points where we should start from, but it was a really good performance from us.
“I think and I’m sure that if we give our 100 per cent, we will take home some points and the victory.”
He added: “Good results make you more hungry for other results. That is the most important thing.
“We needed that spark that makes us push even more.”
