KYLE Newman has joined teammates Steve Worrall and Anders Rowe in announcing his departure from Poole Pirates.
The club’s season has officially come to an end, with no new date found for the delayed Jubilee League final, which was twice postponed last week.
Team building plans are well underway, with the club thought to be edging nearer to their line-up for another season in the Championship in 2024.
But that septet will not include Poole-born Newman.

The 31-year-old returned to the club this year and was keen to extend his stay.
However, no room has been found for him.
In a statement on his Facebook page, Newman wrote: “Season done and I’ve been told so is my time at Poole Pirates as not in the plans for next year.
“Thanks for the season to all the fans and sponsors, it’s been a good year, just didn’t finish the way we wanted!
“Looking ahead to next year now. Seemingly a lot of teams have already filled up by the time I found out, so options are rather limited, so see what happens now.”
Newman completed more races for Pirates than any other rider across the 2023 season, totalling 243+52 points, including 27 race wins, from his 177 outings.
