POOLE Town have lent young goalkeeper Will Butler to Wessex Premier League neighbours Christchurch.
The 19-year-old will spend the rest of the season on loan at Hurn Bridge, and is available for Church’s home clash with Brockenhurst this weekend.
Previously on the books of both Cherries and Southampton’s academy, Butler is a full international for the British Virgin Islands.
In 2022, he trialled with Championship outfit Watford, although no deal transpired.
Speaking about the move, Christchurch manager Nathan Brown said: “We are so pleased to get Will on loan, he’s a talented keeper and he’s got vast experience.”
In total, Butler has made 17 appearances for Dolphins, playing twice this campaign.
His most recent match was the 5-3 defeat Poole suffered away at Hayes & Yeading in Matt Tubbs’ first game in charge as Dolphins manager.
