ALEX Scott has taken to social media to update fans on his knee injury.

The 20-year-old was forced off during last weekend's 6-1 defeat at Manchester City, following a challenge with Rodri.

The former Bristol City man has only recently returned from a knee problem.

He started four consecutive fixtures, against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley, Liverpool and Man City, with fans excited by the early glimpses of the midfielder.

Boss Andoni Iraola confirmed the latest injury was to the opposite knee for Scott, with hopes it was just a "minor" concern.

But it seems it could be more severe.

On Instagram, Scott shared pictures from the incident with the captions "gutted" and "trust the process".

Iraola is due up for his press conference today to hopefully provide more information.
