HAMWORTHY Recreation have been handed a home draw as their debut FA Vase campaign continues.
Kirk Grice and Wayne Smith’s side booked their place in the third round of the competition with a 1-0 win at higher league Fairford Town on Saturday.
The only goal came inside seven minutes, courtesy of Chris Long.
Ham Rec will now welcome Wells City to the BJM Stadium on Saturday, December 2, looking to keep their Wembley dream alive.
Hamworthy are enjoying a superb season, unbeaten atop Wessex Division One with 12 wins from 13.
Wells, who beat Portland United on penalties in the last round, compete at the same level as Ham Rec on the pyramid, in Division One of the Western League, where they currently sit ninth.
Winners of the contest will earn £1,125, with ties settled on the day.
