DORSET darts duo Scott Mitchell and Tommy Morris came up short on the final day of the latest event in the MODUS Super Series.
Both players made it through the field of 12 after a week of action in Portsmouth, to give themselves an opportunity on Saturday.
However, neither Mitchell nor Morris progressed through their respective three-man groups to reach the semi-finals.
Morris lost both his group games, against Dom Taylor and Jamie Kelling.
All three men were tied on two pointes apiece in Group A, but Mitchell finished bottom of the pile on leg difference, after a heavy loss to Swede Viktor Tingstrom.
Andy Boulton, who lost to Mitchell earlier in the day, was the overall winner of week two, defeating Taylor 4-2 in the final, to qualify for champions week.
The winner of champions week will take home a £20,000 prize.
