POOLE Town’s meeting with Southern League Premier South leaders Salisbury has been rearranged to the first week of December.

Dolphins had been set to host their rivals from Wiltshire last Tuesday, only for heavy rain to lead to a postponement.

Instead Poole will now face Salisbury on Tuesday, December 5.

Poole have been drawn at home in the quarter-finals of the Dorset Senior Cup, with the Dolphins set to begin their defence of their county crown by facing either Wimborne Town or Weymouth.

Originally slated to be played Tuesday, November 14, the rearranged tie between Wimborne and Weymouth will be staged Tuesday, December 12.

Hamworthy United have pulled out of the competition, meaning the winners of Hamworthy Recreation’s clash with Gillingham Town will be awarded a bye to the semi-finals.
