FORMER Cherries chairman Jeff Mostyn has received an honorary fellowship from Bournemouth’s AECC University College.

Mostyn dedicated 16 years of his life to the football club, famously putting his hand into his own pocket to save them from going out of existence in 2007.

He then served as Cherries chairman during the rise up from League Two to the Premier League, before eventually departing earlier this year.

On Friday, Mostyn was presented with an honorary fellowship at the 2023 AECC graduation event.

Taking to X, Mostyn said: “I am humbled to have received an honorary fellowship from AECC University College.

“I dedicate this award to my wife Rose, family and all the incredible supporters and staff at AFC Bournemouth, who have shared our magical never to be forgotten journey together.”
