LONG-SERVING Adam Smith is set to extend his stay at Cherries even further, after a clause was triggered in his contract.
In August 2022, Smith signed a deal which tied him to the club until the summer of 2024.
But it has now been confirmed the 32-year-old has had another year added to his deal.
Smith made his fifth Premier League appearance last weekend, providing an assist in the 3-1 win at Sheffield United.
It took his overall tally of appearances for the club to 351, having first joined on loan in 2010, helping them reach the League One play-offs.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man, who has netted six goals for Cherries, is approaching the 10-year anniversary of signing for the club permanently.
During his time at Vitality Stadium, Smith has been part of two promotion-winning squads.
