CHERRIES will begin their FA Cup quest against Queens Park Rangers in January.
The two clubs were paired together in this afternoon’s draw for the third round, with the game to take place at Loftus Road.
It could see a reunion with two former Daily Echo/Micky Cave award winners in Steve Cook and Asmir Begovic, who ply their trade with the R’s.
Currently in the Championship relegation zone, QPR recently sacked boss Gareth Ainsworth and replaced him with Spaniard Marti Cifuentes.
Cherries last faced QPR in December 2021, winning in west London thanks to a Dominic Solanke goal.
Ties are due to take place on the weekend of January 6, 2024.
For Cherries, that falls between Premier League games against Tottenham Hotspur (December 31) and Liverpool (January 21).
