ANDONI Iraola has commented how Cherries’ preparation for Saturday’s game with Nottingham Forest was impacted by the managerial change at the City Ground.

This week Steve Cooper was dismissed by Forest after just one win in the last 13 games, his replacement Nuno Espirito Santo installed as his replacement less than 24 hours later.

That has meant Cherries’ training has focused more on their own style of play, with too many unknowns to contend with.

Iraola explained: “It's a difficult situation for us, training wise.

“Because we were at the beginning of the week, we were preparing for Forest, like they were playing with Steve Cooper.

“Now we have to think in other situations that we really don't know because they have a lot of players.

“Nuno has played with a lot of different systems, so we are trying to focus more on ourselves.

“Try to think in ourselves, try to improve the things that we need to improve.

“It will require us to be very quick to react.

“Once we know the lineup, once we see the first minutes, we have to be ready for different scenarios.

"It's not easy, but it's what we have to do this week.”
