CHERRIES have confirmed that Emi Marcondes will see out the rest of the season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.
Having spent the first half of the 2023/24 season recovering from a foot issue picked up whilst on loan with FC Nordsjaelland last season, Marcondes returned to Andoni Iraola’s first team squad.
However, despite being named in numerous matchday squads, the attacking midfielder did not play a single minute under Iraola.
In total the Dane made 24 appearances for Cherries, scoring seven occasions.
A free transfer from recently promoted Brentford in the summer of 2021, Marcondes signed a three-year deal on his arrival at Vitality Stadium.
That means he will be out of contract in the summer, with his time on the south coast seemingly over.
Cherries owner Bill Foley is currently undergoing the process of buying a minority stake in Hibernian, explaining the link between the two clubs.
