CHERRIES are set to see some of their Premier League games moved as a knock-on effect of Aston Villa’s progression in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Unai Emery’s Villans eased past Ajax thanks to a 4-0 second leg victory on Thursday to reach the last eight of Europe’s tertiary competition.

Cherries’ home clash with Manchester United on Sunday, April 14 will now move to Saturday, April 13 (5.30pm), pending official confirmation from the Premier League.

That is because Arsenal’s game with Aston Villa will now have to be moved in the opposite direction thanks to Villa competing in Europe on the Thursday.

Both games have been selected for television, meaning both will still be shown live on Sky Sports.

Cherries then are set to travel to Villa the following weekend, with that game now likely to move from the Saturday to the Sunday, April 21.

The second leg of Aston Villa’s Europa Conference League quarter final will be played the Thursday before Cherries’ trip to Villa Park, and as such will require moving.

Villa welcome Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille to Villa Park on Thursday, April 11, before traveling to France for the return fixture on Thursday, April 18.
