ANDONI Iraola was pleased with the impact half-time substitute Enes Unal made as Cherries stormed back to beat Luton Town.
Unal, fresh from his late equaliser against Sheffield United a few days earlier, replaced Alex Scott with Cherries 3-0 down to the Hatters.
The Turkey international partnered Dominic Solanke up front as Cherries pushed forwards and completed an astonishing turnaround to win 4-3.
Unal had a hand in the build-up for two of the goals, and came close to scoring late on, while Solanke’s strike started the recovery, before Illia Zabarnyi and Antoine Semenyo got on the scoresheet.
Discussing the impact of Getafe loanee Unal off the bench, Iraola said: “I think we had to take more risks.
“We put Enes and Dom up front, so they (Luton) had to focus a little bit more in the middle and we could find situations one against one with Antoine and with Tav (Marcus Tavernier) in the second half.
“I think both fought a lot, Enes and Dom.
“They gave chances to their teammates and were even involved in the goals.
“I think Enes also had some chances to score at the end.
“He gave the assist to Ant in the last goal and was part of the second goal, before the clearance. Both were involved and played well together.”
