CHERRIES midfielder Tyler Adams scored a stunning long-range goal to set USA on their way to victory in the CONCACAF Nations League final.
With the game against Mexico locked at 0-0, Adams, making his first senior start in more than a year following hamstring surgery, let fly from around 30 yards and sent a shot soaring beyond experienced goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.
That goal on the stroke of half-time was one of Adams’s final contributions, before being replaced at the break.

A fine finish from Gio Reyna, currently on loan at Nottingham Forest from Borussia Dortmund, sealed a 2-0 win for Gregg Berhalter’s men.
Victory in Texas continued USA’s dominance of the Nations League, winning all three editions of the tournament so far.
Jamal Lowe, on loan at Swansea City from Cherries, was an unused substitute as Jamaica won the third-place play-off 1-0 against Panama.
