ANDONI Iraola hopes Bill Foley “enjoyed” seeing Cherries emerge triumphant in two “hard-fought games” during his latest stay in England, adding: “He brings a good spirit.”
For the first time since October, the club’s owner jetted in and watched on at Vitality Stadium as Cherries defeated Everton 2-1 on Saturday and Crystal Palace 1-0 on Tuesday evening, before heading over to Canford to assess progress on the new training ground.
Cherries also won on Foley’s last visit, defeating Burnley, in what was Iraola’s first Premier League win as a boss, after a slow start to the campaign had some questioning the Spaniard’s future.
Discussing Foley’s attendance at the past two matches, head coach Iraola said: “Bill follows all the games, obviously.
“We have to tell him that he has to come more, because every time he comes, we are winning games!
“I think that is a good sign. I hope he has enjoyed these two games, hard-fought games.
“Bill is always there. When he came last time, we were in a really bad moment.
“He also tried to push us and he brings a good spirit overall.”
