THREE Cherries players have been nominated for Premier League awards after their exploits in March.
Antoine Semenyo is part of a seven-man shortlist for the main gong of the top-flight’s player of the month.
The Ghana international scored three goals across his four fixtures, once in victory at Burnley before two in the comeback win against Luton Town.
Semenyo is competing for the award against Alexander Isak (Newcastle United), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool), Rodrigo Muniz (Fulham), Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur) and Ben White (Arsenal).
Meanwhile, Dominic Solanke’s strike in that 4-3 win over Luton has been nominated for the Premier League’s goal of the month prize.
Solanke sparked the comeback, bringing the ball out of the air and expertly spinning away from Hatters defender Daiki Hashioka and clipping a shot beyond goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.
That goal is competing with seven others across March, scored by Yoane Wissa (Brentford), Marcus Rashford (Man Utd), Phil Foden (Man City), Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace), David Datro Fofana (Burnley), Jacob Murphy (Newcastle) and Muniz.
Neto’s brilliant stop to deny Burnley’s Jacob Bruun Larsen from scoring a free-kick at Turf Moor is up for save of the month.
He is up against Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest), Arijanet Muric (Burnley), Mark Flekken (Brentford), Bart Verbruggen (Brighton & Hove Albion) and former Cherries keeper Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal).
