A DRAMATIC finale is in store in the Dorset Sunday League Division One, with just .05 of an average point separating Kingston Lacy and Bournemouth going into the final three fixtures.
Lacy hammered Poole by 104 runs at the weekend to make the most of second-placed Bournemouth's cancelled match.
Colin Randall was the top performer for reigning champions Lacy as he produced a good all-round display to see off Poole.
Randall fired 48 off just 44 deliveries as Lacy racked up 204 for nine batting first, with Mark House (44) also contributing.
Poole never got close in reply, as Randall (2-17), Barry Park (3-20) and Chris Lake (2-36) helped knock them over for just 100.
BEATING THE DROP
STUDLAND skipper Steve Lawson believes his side are safe from the drop after defeating Marnhull by 38 runs on Sunday.
Veteran batsman Cooper Payne, 48, was the main man for the top-flight strugglers, with his 97 leading them to a formidable 268 for seven.
Lawson hit a quickfire 46 not out, while Mark Elliott (47) also found form.
Despite a spirited Marnhull effort, they fell short on 230 all out after youngsters Luke Pothegary, Elliott and Cody Hayman claimed two wickets apiece.
PARLEY IN COMMAND
TOM Jacques and Sam Collins starred as Parley defeated Old Blandfordians by seven wickets.
On a slow, damp wicket, Parley restricted OBs to 123 for seven off their 45 overs, with Collins (3-34) the pick of the bowlers.
Collins (46) and Jacques (56 off 58 balls) shared 110 for the opening wicket in reply and the remaining runs were scored to seal a convincing win.
