DORSET'S European Tour player Lee James enjoyed two days in the company of snooker star Willie Thorne at the British Par Three Championships at Nailcote Hall.
James and five-handicapper Thorne finished in a share of 20th place with a four-under-par two-round total 104 - 10 shots behind winners Tom Whitehouse and Elliott Cook.
"It was really fun couple of days," said James. "Willie was fantastic company and it was a good opportunity to unwind away from the pressures of the Tour."
In the main event, James finished in a share of 12th place with Ferndown touring professional Shaun Webster who is a past winner of the event.
The pair both finished on four over par - nine shots behind winner Mark Mouland.
Dorset's Gary Emerson, meanwhile, finished in joint 45th place on 11 over par.
James tees off in the SAS Masters in Stockholm tomorrow morning at 9am with Manuel Quiros and Patrik Sjoland.
