EVERY word Cherries boss Andoni Iraola said in front of the cameras at his pre-match press conference, ahead of tomorrow's clash with Manchester United (5.30pm).

Q: How does it feel to be named Premier League Manager of the Month for March?

“It was nice. The first time it’s happened.

“I think it’s not just me.

“It's about the recognition of the last run we had, especially in March.

“I think we've been close a couple of other months, and it's good to receive this recognition.

“But, the most important thing is the points we took from that run.”

Q: What do you think about Premier League introducing semi-automated offside technology next season?

“Very welcome. I think it's something that was needed.

“I remember the experience it was a World Cup match or the Euros, or something.

“It was really, really helpful, even for the ones just watching the game.

“It was quite fast.

“I think you see the situation's clearer than with the lines, that sometimes it's not so clear.

“And I think it is a good step forward.

“I think we have to use it. We see now with the goal line technology straight away, goals are conceded or not.

“And now I think offside is going to be well implemented and it's going to be less controversial.

“And obviously there are grey areas in football, especially in the boxes with the handballs.

“That is much more difficult to referee - then we need the help of the referees obviously.”

Q: What is the latest injury update?

"I will tell you the ones that are definitely out because we have some with colds, with the we are going through these tweaks. You can see even me, with my voice! You can notice it for sure.

“There are some players that are 50/50.

“But I will tell the ones that are out - Tyler Adams, Chris Mepham, Marcus Tavernier, Ryan Fredericks and Antoine Semenyo.

“It's a shame they are out."

FURTHER QUOTES HERE: Illness and injury still affecting Cherries, with six players definitely ruled out

Q: All suffering colds?

“Different circumstances. But you saw the past week with Antoine and Tav that were out and we still cannot count on the other three."

Q: Do you feel like there's an opportunity to beat Manchester United again?

“I think we have to do a very, very good game. We have to be very efficient because United doesn't forgive you.

“Sometimes you think you are playing well against them, or you are in control of the game and you lose your focus for three minutes and then you are down.

“And then they score a couple of goals in two, three minutes.

“We've seen it in the last games were probably they were not playing well and then they have a great transition team, very good attacking players.

“So I think we have to be very good in both boxes against the top opposition at the end.

“What you do in the in the boxes is what makes the difference.”

Q: Erik ten Hag said his side have to be ready for battle – what does that say about Manchester United’s mindset heading into the game?

“Obviously for them it's a very important game.

“They will come here wanting to beat us, wanting to be better in the duels.

“But we have to be at our best.

“No, probably we lose some important players, but it's also a very good opportunity for our players who can step up and show that they are really, really good players and they can play against this kind of opposition.

Q: How superstitious are you?

“Not a lot, I say. Not a lot, but probably if you ask people around, they will say that I am."

Q: Because the day before the game at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag was named manager of the month. Are you worried that history will repeat itself?

“I will not focus now on that. And that is that. I think there are different circumstances and I hope it doesn't repeat.”

Q: Beating Manchester United as a player with Athletic Club was a career high – where does beating Manchester United with Cherries rank?

“I think it's one of the best games we've played this season.

“It’s always great to experience a win.

“Also the way the way we did it in a stadium like Old Trafford.

“But now we have to start at 0-0 again and we have to do it again.

“We have now the help of our home supporters, but it's not going to be easy because I think they are a team that has top players.

“We have to be 100 minutes focused and don't give cheap goals, don't give cheap chances.

“But it's not easy against this kind of teams."

Q: How dangerous is Rasmus Hojlund?

“He is very, very dangerous. I think he’s a number nine who plays very well facing his goal because he's physical enough to pin the centre backs and then set up the teammates.

“He is very good also because he's very fast attacking the spaces.

“Very good strike, very good left foot.

“But they have all the forwards are really good because Garnacho is making the difference almost every game.

“Whoever they decide to play the other side, Bruno, I think, will have difficult duels.

“But we've shown that we've done it in other games and I think, I hope we are ready tomorrow to do it again.”

Q: What have you made of Manchester United?

“I said this with also in Spain with Real Madrid. Sometimes these kind of teams make you think that you are doing well.

“You are passing the ball two or three passes, we are kind of comfortable.

“And then you make one mistake and three seconds, you are taking the ball from your net because they damage you and they have difference makers.

“So, I think we have to if we are under control, if we have the chances, we have to damage them.

“We have to score.

“Because, the other game against Liverpool, where they looked like they were struggling in the first half.

“Then second half 20 minutes in, it’s 1-1 because they make the difference without probably the needs of other teams to be more in control, to be more pushing the opponent.

“No, they can make (the difference) in so many different ways.

“And this is why they are a big, big team.”

Q:  How has Tavs reacted to injury?

“It's never a good moment to get injured.

“But it's true that he played really well against Luton, he scored the goal.

“But I've said it before - for me he was playing very well, even the games before Luton.

“Sometimes we ask, we demand too much about stuff because he gives us a lot of things.

“We make him defend a lot.

“He's someone who can attack inside without the ball, can cover very well his side.

“He's the one providing the assists and we want him to go forward, make the difference and score the goals.

“He's a good player, but I think sometimes we are really, really demanding with him.”

Q: Do you feel that performances at home have improved recently?

“I think we've been really smart last games at home as we had some patience.

“The games we played, we didn't make mistakes at the beginning.

“We kept the game quite alive and we normally kind of finish quite well the games.

“I think we've dealt quite well with the games.

“I think tomorrow is going to be different.

“It's going to be because of the level of the opposition.

“So we will have to start the strong and then keep the level, keep the bar there.

“As long as we can keep the game level and if we arrive with chances at the end, I trust my team because I think we are finishing strong, even if we lost the other day in the last minute.”
