DORSET'S Lee James secured a share of this weekend's SAS Masters prize money after an impressive two-under-par 68 in Stockholm this afternoon.
James, who carded a 72 on the first day, began his second round at the 10th hole and climbed up the leader board with birdies at the 14th, 15th, and 17th holes.
A dropped shot at the 18th was cancelled out by a two at the short second hole. His only other blemish came at the fifth.
"I'm pleased with the way I played," said James. "That was the worst my score could have been today."
He starts tomorrow's round in a share of 39th place - eight shots behind joint leaders Nick Dougherty and Peter Hanson.
It will be James's first Tour pay day since May when he picked up more than £25,000 for finishing joint 16th in the Irish Open.
