CHERRIES hit the road again tonight, returning to the Midlands to face Wolverhampton Wanderers (7.45pm).

Having arrived home from Aston Villa on Sunday evening, Cherries had a day of recovery before making their way back north on Tuesday, ready for tonight’s clash at Molineux.

And they are set to travel with the same squad as lost at Villa, with six players still unavailable in Marcus Tavernier, Luis Sinisterra, Ryan Fredericks, Chris Mepham, Romain Faivre and Tyler Adams.

But Iraola does still have some options available to freshen things up.

Goalkeeper and defence

Unless anything drastically changes in the next couple of weeks, it looks unlikely Neto will lose his place between the sticks for the remainder of the season.

Max Aarons replaced Adam Smith at half-time on Sunday, the veteran enduring a difficult half where he was booked and beaten by Morgan Rogers for Villa’s opener.

This appears a good opportunity for Aarons to get his first start since January. Illia Zabarnyi and Marcos Senesi will continue their partnership at centre-back, while Lloyd Kelly will likely continue on the left.

Midfield

As long as both have come through the Villa game unscathed, Lewis Cook and Ryan Christie should retain their spots as the central midfield duo.

Ahead of them, it would not be a surprise to see Justin Kluivert drop to the bench, given the way his minutes have been managed this season. Philip Billing is waiting in the wings to come in and take that spot, probably more suited than Alex Scott to the role.

Wingers and striker

Iraola will be desperately hoping Antoine Semenyo is fit enough to start, having returned from injury off the bench at the weekend.

Milos Kerkez looks a threat down the left, winning the first-half penalty at Villa Park, so those two look a good shout to get the nod, ahead of Dango Ouattara.

Up front, providing he is feeling no ill effects from Sunday, Dominic Solanke, chasing the Premier League golden boot, will continue to lead the line.

Predicted Cherries XI: Neto; Aarons, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kelly; Cook, Christie; Semenyo, Billing, Kerkez; Solanke.
