EX-WIMBORNE defender Michael White made a steady start for Poole Town as a first-half blast clinched their fourth straight league victory.
White put pen to paper for the Tatnam Farm outfit just before this game and made his Dolphins debut when he came on at half time.
But Tommy Killick's rampaging side - who are two points clear at the top of the table with a 100 per cent record - had already completed the job by scoring three goals before the interval.
Steve Smith and Stuart Brown both produced brilliant finishes after running onto through balls, while Lamin Dibba put away a trademark towering header from a corner.
Killick, who snapped White up from Gosport, said: "I've signed Michael because he's a quality player.
"If there is anyone who will improve the squad I will sign him and he will improve our squad.
"He is a proven Southern League player."
Killick, whose side have not conceded in four games, scoring nine goals in the process, added: "We didn't play very well in the second half, but we did just enough in the first to have it won comfortably.
"A couple of other teams we expect to challenge for the title dropped points this weekend.
"Brock drew with Christchurch and Wimborne drew at Hayling, so I'm reasonably happy with all that.
"It was good to get another clean sheet and we looked good defensively."
Aaron Skelton, Leigh Phillips and Keith Middleton come back into Poole's squad for their home league clash against Poppies tonight (7.45pm).
Poole Town: Harvell, Poore, Whitley, Dibba, Simon Browne (White 45), Bailey-Pearce, Hubbard, S Richardson (Austin, 60), Gill, S Smith, Stuart Brown (Swann 60). Unused subs: Hogan, Tong.
