SKIPPER Craig de Weymarn was full of praise for his second in command Nick Park after the Dorset star batted Bournemouth to victory on Saturday.
Park fired 60 as the hosts chased down Hampshire Academy's 151 all out to win the Southern Electric Division One clash at Chapel Gate by five wickets.
And de Weymarn was delighted wit the contribution of his vice captain. He said: "He has a tremendous amount of talent and technique, and he'll score a lot of runs. It's great to have him at Bournemouth.
"Perhaps he hasn't scored as many as he'd want this season, but he did well on Saturday.
"He's my vice captain and throughout the whole season he's been a good number two. He's really supportive and makes my life easier."
Bournemouth's victory at the weekend was set up by their bowlers, who reduced the visitors to one for three early on.
Pete Smith (3-32), David Payne (2-35) and Ed Denham (2-21) helped skittle the Academy.
In reply, Park was well supported by brother James (31).
Saturday's win puts Bournemouth fourth in the table with a week of the season remaining.
